Environmental Policy
At International Chemical Company (ICC) we recognize our responsibilities to the safety and health of the environment, our customers, our employees and the local community. We are committed to comply with all relevant environmental, health and safety legislation at local, regional, national and global levels. It is of utmost importance to continually improve environmental performance through appropriate initiatives, controls, and the training of employees, contractors and customers. Our aim is to minimize adverse impacts on the environment and to protect the population without compromising the integrity of our products and service.
In addition, we are committed to the following six practices:
Prevention of pollution
Minimization of hazardous/dangerous material usage and the production of waste
Effective and responsible waste management and disposal
Promoting reuse and recycling of products
Maintaining a high awareness of environmental, health and safety issues in the workforce and community
Applying and reviewing safety, health and environmental objectives and targets
We ensure these principles through continual improvement, management commitment, product development, management of the manufacturing environment, involvement in the community, customer education and outreach. Our commitment extends to the services we offer and the products we provide. The safety of the environment and the population is our number one priority.
